Welding Test Laboratory & Consultancy

CISI offers an In-House Testing Laboratory to accommodate our customers in all matters of the basic unforgiving metals of today.

CISI works to current codes and specifications of API, AWS, ASME Codes and Consultant personnel for each or all.  Our 8 booth welding shop allows us to test 16 welders in an 8 hour day for immediate turnarounds.  All tests are monitored by an active AWS member for precise and code complying results.




CISI has patented designs to interchange welding positions at the turn of a bolt.  Once petitioners are locked in place, the chance of welding out of position is impossible.

Some of CISI's services in welding are:

• Write Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) per AWS, ASME, API, etc.
• Write Procedure Qualification Records (PQR) per AWS, ASME, API, etc.
• Administrate WPS/PQR and perform all necessary mechanical tests
• Find Tensile, Yield and Elongation of various metals.
• Stress Relieving/Normalize Quench & Tempering (Max. length 3 ft.  Max. width 2 ft.)
